fallujahFallujah released one of the most forward-thinking death metal albums of last year with The Flesh Prevails, and while the album just came out last July, they’ve already announced that they’re making the jump from Unique Leader to Nuclear Blast for their next album. Here’s what the band said about their move:

“We’re extremely excited to be part of a roster alongside not just great bands, but great people who are dedicated to the craft and enthusiastic about our vision of where we see Fallujah going. Fallujah is all about pushing the envelope, taking risks, and keeping an open mind; with that mentality we felt Nuclear Blast was the most obvious and logical step for a band such as ours. With our team behind us, we can’t wait to see Fallujah grow.”

It’s not known when the band will have new music out, or even if the label plans on reissuing The Flesh Prevails, but you’ll be able to catch them on tour in February and March on two separate tours in the interim. It makes sense that Nuclear Blast wrap them up, given the buzz that their current album has created.
