Paws, Pets & Metal is Metal Insider’s newest column on bands with pets, discovering who watches them on the road, and more. Get to know more about these metal furbabies. We caught up with Our Mirage’s Timo Bonner as he takes his Australian shepherd to the studio with him.

Tell us more about your pet(s) and their names?

I am the owner of Emmi which is a one year old Australian Shepherd girl.

Have you ever taken your pet on tour?

No I have never taken a pet on tour, it would be too stressy and noisy for her. So I don‘t think I will ever take her with me.

Who looks after your pet while on the road?

When I am on the road with Our Mirage my girlfriend will look after Emmi. Since we live together and Emmi is our dog together it’s really easy. But I know she misses me a lot.

What’s your pet’s favorite song or album?

I think that would be the album Wastelands from the german band, Chiffre.

How did you introduce your pet to metal?

I work as a metal music producer so I took her with me to the studio since she was 3 months old. She was kinda forced to listen and sleep to that, but now she loves it to be in the studio with me and all the bands.

What animal charity means most to you?

That would be seasheperd I think.
