Back in December, bassist Mike D’Antonio said that Killswitch Engage had been working on demos and were eyeing a Summer 2012 release for their new album. However, many assumed that the departure of singer Howard Jones delayed those plans. But now with Jesse Leach back in the band, it looks like Killswitch Engage is back at work on new material.
And thanks to a picture uploaded on the band’s website, it would appear that KSE is already in the studio recording. The picture (as seen above) would appear to be drummer Justin Foley recording drum parts. While an official statement from the band and Roadrunner Records will likely be released soon, it’s safe to assume that the image confirms that recording the new album has started. After all, we learned that a picture is worth a thousand words from KSE before.
