It’s been a while since we got a new album from hardcore masters Every Time I Die with their last release From Parts Unknown back in 2014 but the wait has become shorter as the band just confirmed they are in the studio working on their follow-up record.
Despite their terribly busy schedules involving guitarist Andy Williams beating the living crap of everyone on his pro wrestling career, frontman Keith Buckley writing novels and his brother and guitarist Jordan Buckley designing stuff for all Vans Warped tours, the Buffalo boys are working with producer Will Putney back at their hometown and are expected to deliver us something at some point this year.
Keith Buckley states:
“You would think that by now the studio process is pretty familiar to us, but in just the first week Will has taught us things about ourselves that make it feel as if we’ve never even stepped foot in one. He has stripped our music down to the bolts and laid everything out on display and only now that we’re able to see how each part functions can we fix it, shine it and put it back together into a machine that runs better than it ever has. This album will be our 1974 Ford Falcon XB Interceptor. Get the fuck out of the way.”
The band will be dedicated to their new record aside from a handful of shows they have scheduled at the Slam Dunk Festival this coming May, so in the meantime, enjoy a picture of the guys shirtless in the studio.
