Slayer seemed to have a lot of fun at Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest back in 2011 (a lot of fun). Now Slayer are returning for yet another year of fun in Texas, as they’ve been confirmed for this year’s edition.
Slayer joins big names like Snoop Dogg (or Snoop Lion), M.I.A. and MGMT for the festival, taking place at the Auditorium Shores from November 8 to 10. Other heavy acts slated for the bill include Quicksand, Gojira, FLAG, August Burns Red, The Locust, Ice-T’s Body Count, Pelican, Cro-Mags, Code Orange Kids, and Narrows among many others. Whether this lineup is hinting at a major tour in the works (as Metal Sucks insinuates) is yet to be seen.
The full lineup can be seen over at the festival’s website, while single day tickets go on sale September 5 (though 3 day passes are available now).
