Nine Inch Nails ended 2016 on an up note by surprise-releasing a new EP. Not the Actual Events is a 21-minute, five song EP that came out on December 23rd, and suggested that the band would be coming out of a several year dormancy. Well, we’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is that the band have announced their first show of 2017. The bad news is that, much like Tool, it’s at a New York festival, and it’ll cost you if you want to see them.

Nine Inch Nails will be headlining the Panorama Festival on Sunday, July 30th at NYC’s Randall’s Island. If you want to pick up a single-day pass, it’ll run you $99, unless you want a VIP pass, which will cost $230. That’s a lot of money to see Nine Inch Nails. However, if you’re a fan of A Tribe Called Quest, they’ll also be playing. The rest of the lineup includes Justice, Glass Animals, Cloud Nothings and a bunch of other bands we’ve never heard of. If you want to pony up for the other two days, Frank Ocean, Solange, Tame Impala and Alt-J are among the headliners, and you can pick up a three-day GA pass for $282. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, January 13th at 10am on the festival’s website.
