Monster Energy Houston Open Air festival will return this year on October 14-15 to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman in The Woodslands, TX. The event will feature two stages with a number of acts including Five Finger Death Punch, Prophets of Rage, Stone Sour, Marilyn Manson, Mastodon, Halestorm, In This Moment, Gojira and Suicidal Tendencies. Tickets go on sale this Friday (16) at 10:00 AM CT via Houston Open Air, Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory expressed his excitement:

“Every time we’ve played Houston it’s always been a great time. There are a lot of rock and metal fans there and we’ve always had massive crowds. So it was just a question of time for the city to get its own big Rock Festival. We are glad to see that it finally happened and honored to be a part of it.”
