Last year, Metal Sucks and Metal Injection teamed up with 1000 Knives for a pretty great CMJ party that featured, among others, Kvelertak’s first New York show. How can they outdo themselves? Well, they just announced their third annual CMJ party, taking place on Thursday, October 18 at Public Assembly in Brooklyn, and it’s going to be quite the rager. Pig Destroyer will be playing their first New York show in over three years. The show will also feature KEN Mode, Early Graves and Encrust.

On the fence about coming to New York for CMJ Music Marathon? This should help nudge you in the right direction. This is the first CMJ showcase to be announced, but most likely not the last (stay tuned for updates on that). You’ll also be able to pick up a limited edition print of the sweet artwork above. It’s gotta be a pretty amazing show to coax us out to Brooklyn during CMJ – and this is definitely one of them. Tickets are $15, if you buy them now, and will be $17 the day of show. Pick them up here.
