legomovie

The internet is an instantaneous thing. Hell, the day after Metallica’s “Hardwired” was released in late afternoon, there were already a bunch of guitar covers of it online. That’s why it’s almost quaint that a version of “Everything is Awesome” from 2014’s The Lego Movie, has just made it’s way online. The video, by Norwegian YouTuber Leo Moracchioli, has already garnered 200,000 views in just three days, and it’s easy to see why. The video was done with characters in costume like the Lego Movie characters, while the Tegan and Sara original version is a lot more chipper, watching the video, which was filmed in a warehouse, in front of a fire station, at a supermarket, and a handful of other locations, is nearly as fun as the film was.
