On October 21, just in time for Halloween, Rob Zombie will be releasing his latest horror film, 31. However, in advance of that, Fathom Events and Metal Insider are giving you a chance to see the film early. There will be a special one-night-only screening of the film at theaters nationwide on September 1 at 7pm. In addition to the film screening, there will also be a premiere of two of his videos, “The Hideous Exhibitions of a Dedicated Gore Whore” and “Get Your Boots On! That’s The End of Rock and Roll,” as well as a making of featurette and a Q&A with Zombie filmed for the event.
Regardless of how his movies are (fair to awesome), it’s undeniable that Rob Zombie knows his way around visuals, and with a story about kidnapped carnival workers on Halloween night menaced by sadistic clowns, it’s bound to be a modern day cult classic. Even if it doesn’t reach the greatness of The Devil’s Rejects, Zombie’s a new page will be written in Zombie’s ’70s grindhouse horror-worship canon.
