John Clayton is one of the hardest working reporters at ESPN. What makes him even better is the fact that he seems to be a huge metalhead. At least that’s what his 30-second commercial makes us believe. The commercials received a lot of love from the sports world, and metal fans who are also sports fans finally have a reason to yell “SLAYER” at a football game. Plus, if you look closely enough, you’ll even see a poster from Battlecross hanging above Clayton’s bed. So whether not the commercial is a real-life depiction of Clayton’s home life (we’re betting it’s not), someone on the ESPN staff listens to a lot of metal.
