To put it nicely, The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame has become infamous for overlooking truly influential hard rock acts. One of those bands that was continuously ignored by Rolling Stone the Hall Of Fame committee was Rush. That changed this year, though, as everyone’s favorite Canadian prog rock trio was finally inducted into the Hall Of Fame. To say that Rush’s induction was long overdue is an understatement, and seeing them finally get the honor they deserved was as great as seeing Alex Lifeson’s acceptance speech itself (see below). Here’s hoping that Rush’s induction will help pave the way for other unrightfully ignored acts to finally gain entry into rock’s most elitist club.
