New & Noteworthy is a weekly column in which we highlight some of the newest rock and metal releases coming out each week. This week features the spookiest thing I can think of hearing mid-October, a Rob Halford Christmas album. For last week’s releases you can check out the last New & Noteworthy, and for the latest sales numbers Metal by Numbers. Be sure to follow us on Spotify to get this month’s New & Noteworthy Playlist, updated every Friday with the newest metal releases.

I’m back! Well, back in Pittsburgh. Those two weeks out in Denver were amazing. Red Rocks lives up to the hype (and I suppose AJR was fun live too). Being able to catch Ghost, Nothing More, Godsmack, and Halestorm also while on the trip definitely made it that much better. Unfortunately due to some automotive issues and the logistics of returning from an extended work trip in another time zone, I’ve been a little backed up this week and have not had as much time to jump into new stuff. So please forgive me for the abbreviated list of releases. If it counts for anything, I got my tickets for ProgPower USA and Sonic Temple for next year already.
