October 24, 2025 Release Highlights:
Warrant, The Speed of Metal (Massacre):
The German speed metal band returns with their first new album in 11 years, which is described as “delivering a wall of dual-guitar power, blistering solos, and relentless speed.”
Mammoth, The End (BMG):
The hard rock band’s third studio effort is a new beginning of sorts. Dropping “WVH” from their name, frontman Wolfgang Van Halen also changed up the production process, working on songs in the studio instead of fiddling with demos on his laptop.
Serj Tankian, Covers, Collaborations & Collages (Serjical Strike):
The System Of A Down frontman’s latest solo album features more recordings from his personal archive of covers and collaborations.
The Acacia Stain, You Are Safe From God Here (Rise):
According to the band, their 13th studio album “sports elements of sludge, doom, death metal and hardcore,” with lyrics that explore “the bleak landscapes of misanthropy, nihilism and existential dread.”
Dayseeker, Creature In The Black Night (Spinefarm):
The post-hardcore band’s sixth studio effort is described by Metal Insider as being “heavier, darker, and paradoxically clearer than anything they’ve done before.”
Soulfly, CHAMA (Nuclear Blast):
According to vocalist Max Cavalera, the band’s 13th studio album “has the adventurous spirit of the first record” but with “more intricate and maybe even heavier, heavier grooves.”
