February 14, 2025 Release Highlights:

Lacuna Coil, Sleepless Empire (Century Media):
For their 10th studio album, the Italian goth metal band “captures, through our eyes, the chaos of a generation trapped in a digital world that never stops” with songs that are “a desperate cry to reclaim oneself in an era that seems to have lost its sense of time and reality.”

Hands Like Houses, A T M O S P H E R I C S (Civillians):
The Australian rockers look to reintroduce themselves with their fifth studio effort, their first with new lead singer Josh Raven (The Faim).

Mantar, Post Apocalyptic Depression (Metal Blade):
The German duo decided to go in a different, less produced direction with their sixth studio album, saying “We wanted to keep it as primitive as possible. We were bolder this time and literally cut any shit off the songs that we didn’t think was necessary.”

Pattern-Seeking Animals, Friend of All Creatures (GEP):
Featuring members of Spock’s Beard, the prog-rockers release their fifth studio effort, which multi-instrumentalist John Boegehold said “is a bit more concise and focused than previous albums.”

Savage Lands, Army of the Trees (Season Of Mist):
Megadeth drummer Dirk Verbeuren’s non-profit side-project will give proceeds from its collaboration-filled full-length to preserving forests in Costa Rica, Africa and France.”

WARLUNG, The Poison Touch (Heavy Psych Sounds):
The heavy doom rockers describe their fifth studio album as “blasting” the listener “with in-your-face raw energy while simultaneously feeling like a hauntingly beautiful experience.”
