September 19, 2025 Release Highlights:

Motion City Soundtrack, The Same Old Wasted Wonderful World (Epitaph):
The pop-punk band releases its first album in 10 years. The singles released ahead of the full-length are solid rockers with catchy choruses. Said frontman Justin Pierre of the record, “I think that if you look at a lot of our past records, it’s about ‘What’s wrong? What am I not getting right? Why do I feel fucking crazy? Why can’t I figure this out’… and I figured it out. It’s almost like I felt I didn’t have an identity [in the past] and now by working through the hard stuff, I know who I am.”

38 Special, Milestone (38 Special):
To celebrate their 50th anniversary, the classic rockers release their first album of new music in more than two decades. On their website, the band described the album: “Fueled up on snarling guitars, anthemic melodies, and the desire to break new ground, they update their sound for the 2020s, bridging the gap between past and present without forgetting their rock & roll roots.”

Bad Cop Bad Cop, Lighten Up (Fat Wreck Chords):
The punk band releases their fourth studio effort, their most personal work to date. Said vocalist Stacey Dee of the songwriting,“This was the first time that I dug in to tell stories that I was too afraid to talk about prior. We’ve made records that were unapologetically strong, but the way we got to be unapologetically strong was dealing with things like this.”

I Prevail, Violent Nature (Fearless):
The metalcore band’s fourth studio album finds the new five-piece making their most collaborative work to date. Said the band, “We wanted to create something authentic that could only come from the members in the band as a collective. There were no outside producers or writers involved. Just us 5 sitting in a room together. We believe that this is the most cohesive I Prevail record we’ve ever created. Heavy parts getting heavier and melodic parts getting catchier.”

Igorrr, AMEN (Metal Blade):
The French artist’s fifth studio effort is his darkest, saying in a statement, “This album is definitely darker than its predecessors; it has such a very weighty and solemn vibe that has never been reached before in IGORRR.”

Stoned Jesus, Songs To Sun (Season Of Mist):
The Ukrainian band brings together the best parts of their past phases with their eighth studio effort, with their bio describing it as “merging metal’s fiery intensity with mind-melting grooves, vintage prog and their catchiest choruses yet.”
