Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine is Metal Insider’s new column during this time of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked artists five questions on what’s been keeping them busy ranging from their favorite movies, food they’ve been eating, music they’ve been listening to and more. We caught up with Art of Shock’s Art Geezar as he’s been spending this time creating new songs.

What have you been doing to pass time during Quarantine?

We’ve been mostly creating new songs, drinking beer, making silly home videos ..and drinking beer!

Have you been listening to any music or have any playlists worth checking out?

I’m very eclectic when it comes to my playlist. I’m always listening to all kinds of different artists and completely different styles of music. My quarantine playlist has everything from Diana Damrau to Angelcorpse!

A lot of people have been spending this time cooking including making their own bread, what food have you been prepping during this time?

All kinds of stuff! We love cooking. We’ve been grilling a lot… really big steaks, chicken, sausages… you name it!

In terms of entertainment, what movies, TV shows, books, or games have been keeping you busy?

The remake of Final Fantasy Vll is fucking sick! I just watched the final season of Homicide Hunter. I’m really sad that Lt. Joe Kenda decided to end the show! And when it comes to books, I’ve been going back to my favorites, the latest one was John Fante’s Ask the Dust.

What advice do you have for your fans in isolation during this time?

Be creative. Right now we all have some extra time to learn and create new things but most of all stay safe and positive!
