Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

Ever since Killswitch Engage got back together with Jesse Leach, each subsequent album release has always made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I think it’s because of how everything worked out for the band: when Howard Jones left to focus on his personal health, Leach was able to step back into the role and was welcomed with open arms. Not only that, but KSE and Howard Jones have been on nothing but good terms since the split, so much so that Jones makes a guest appearance on “The Signal Fire” off the new album. Seeing these two great vocalists side-by-side is just so wholesome. In addition to the new KSE, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard cracked the top 10 (and got boosts for a few of their previous albums as well) and Slipknot are still in the top 5.
