Metal By Numbers 5/8: I wonder where that fish did go

Posted by on May 8, 2019

Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

If you’ve been reading this column for long enough, you might remember there was an era about two years ago where it felt like King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard was on here all the time with multiple albums. Well, that’s because they were: in 2017 the band put out five studio albums. Subsequently, in 2018, the band didn’t put out a studio album, though their albums from the previous year would continue to rotate on and off the charts. But now they’re back with a new album, so you can expect to see more of the band again. And if that’s not your cup of tea, there are fifteen other debuts this week to look at.
