Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

Oddly, we have more debuts this week than last week’s post-Record Store Day charts. Granted, not all of these releases were as  highly anticipated as a Metallica demo, but still a good week for metal. Our top debut cracked the top 40 and it looks like the new Halestorm album is going to be sticking around just as long as the last one.
