killswitch-engageHITS Daily Double, the online counterpart to industry mag HITS, is projecting Killswitch Engage’s new self-titled album to sell 50,000 – 55,000 in its first week.

This total would be just under the nearly 60,000 first-week copies moved by 2006’s As Daylight Dies, which debuted at #32 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. With today’s even more trying economic times, however, 55k would be enough for an extremely impressive showing – Dream Theater’s 40,000 was enough to land it the #6 spot this week.
