Sometimes things don’t turn out the way you’d expect. For example, Devildriver’s Dez Fafara, a man who first rose to popularity via a Coal Chamber song called “Big Truck,” has found himself in a Honda commercial along with his mom. According to his Instagram post, he and his mom went to a flea market (or a “flee” market as he says), and a hidden camera set up by Honda featured people giving away stuff to unsuspecting shoppers as part of a campaign called “Random Acts of Helpfulness.” He and his mom made the cut and apparently made some money from it. Who said advertising is evil?
