At last night’s Alternative Press Music Awards, Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor joined Halestorm for a cover of Temple of the Dog’s, “Hunger Strike.” Lzzy Hale took Chris Cornell’s high part of the song, while Taylor took Eddie Vedder’s lower part.

Halestorm just hit #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Song charts with their single, “Amen.” Said Lzzy Hale via Instagram:

“Thank you!!!!! Our song #Amen is #1 our second #1 of our new album #IntoTheWildLife we love you all so much! Thank you to the radio stations for all the love….and to all the FREAKS for requesting it!”

Halestorm’s latest album came out in April. Into the Wild Life debuted at #4 on the charts, selling 52,575 in its first week of release.
