The newly resurrected band, Atreyu, announced the release of their upcoming album titled Long Live on September 18th via Spinefarm Records, being the first album in 6 years since the release of their 2009’s Congregation of the Damned. Back in 2011 the band decided to take a break but now that they returned with this new record, the band announced a new tour to get them back on track. The perfect cherry on top is that some of the dates include a free download code for the album with the purchase of the ticket. That’s smart marketing if you ask me.

A video for their newest single “Long Live” was also released and everything you hear screams Atreyu from beginning to end, so you can expect the same quality the band has been known for.

The dates for the tour will go as follows:

09/18 Pomona, CA – The Glasshouse
09/19 Sacramento, CA – Ace of Spades
09/20 Los Angeles, CA – Troubadour
10/02 Detroit, MI – Crofoot Ballroom
10/03 Louisville, KY – Louder Than Life Festival (no free download)
10/05 Toronto, ON – Opera House
10/06 Montreal, QC – Corona Theater
10/07 New York, NY – Irving Plaza (no free download)
10/09 Boston, MA – Paradise Rock Club (no free download)
10/10 Philadelphia, PA – Rockhouse Philly Fest (no free download)
10/11 Baltimore, MD – Baltimore Sound Stage
10/12 Norfolk, VA – The Norva

Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears. I enjoy long walks on the beach, deep conversation, holding hands and attending Satanic music shows every now and then.
