It’s been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, but with one simple shot of an amp head, Lamb of God are getting a hell of a lot more than that. The band launched an Instagram account yesterday that included it’s only post, a shot of a Mesa Boogie Mark IV amp with the caption #lambofgodVII. “But wait,” you die-hard fans might be thinking, “wasn’t 2012’s Resolution the band’s seventh album?” Well, yes. And no. Technically, the band’s first album was with their previous name, Burn the Priest, so this will be the band’s seventh album as Lamb of God, even though it will be their eighth overall.
