Veil of Maya have released their third song from their upcoming album, Matriarch, due out May 12th on Sumerian Records. This new song, “Teleute,” (Greek for death) premiered on SiriusXM radio recently, but this marks the official online debut, following the release of “Mikasa,” and “Phoenix.”
Guitarist Jason Richardson, of Chelsea Grin, makes an appearance on this song, which makes sense as the two bands toured Europe together last October. Matriarch will be the first album with new vocalist Lukas Magyar, formerly of Arms of Empire. He replaced Brandon Butler, who parted ways with the band last September.
Periphery’s vocalist Spencer Sotelo, who did vocal production on this album, Tweeted, “so much illuminati mind control in the new @veilofmayaband video.” After a few views you might just be compelled to pre-order Matriarch here.
