heavymtlWe’d already known that Slipknot and Faith No More were playing the Heavy Montreal Festival (aka, the best reason to go to Canada other than the exchange rate).  But yesterday, the Fest released the full lineup, and it’s ridiculous. Korn will be performing their debut album in full. Meshuggah is playing, as are Gojira and Periphery. There’s also Ihsahn, Dying Fetus, Mastodon and Deafheaven. More of a hair metal fan? Lita Ford, Dokken and Warrant are playing. Punk rock more your speed? Rocket From the Crypt, NOFX, Lagwagon and Small Brown Bike are playing. You get the point, There’s tons of bands from many different genres playing.

Making things even more interesting is that it mentions the Summer Slaughter will be joining up with the fest. That means that somewhere within the massive lineup, the lineup can be found. Arch Enemy was already rumored to be playing, and they’re playing. It wouldn’t be out of the realm to think Periphery might once again be on it. Or Dying Fetus for that matter. Let the guessing begin!  Here’s the lineup:
