Pelican are releasing an EP of reworked versions of “The Cliff,” which comes from their 2013 album, Forever Becoming. You can listen to the first two tracks of the EP below.

The first track features a relative rarity for the band – vocals. Allen Epley, the vocalist that appeared on “Final Breath” from the band’s 2009 album, What We All Come to Need, contributes vocals to the version of the song, which you’ve already gotten a chance to hear. The second track is a remixed version of “The Cliff” by Justin Broadrick of Godflesh and Jesu fame. The third version is done by Aaron Harris and Bryant Clifford Meyer of ISIS and Palms. The final track on the EP is a previously unreleased track titled, “The Wait.”

The EP will be released by Southern Lord, as both a digital download and a 12″ vinyl, and comes out February 24th.
