American SharksAmerican Sharks are touring across the country with Clutch and The Sword in support of their self-titled album. But was do the Sharks eat while on the road? In this food tour diary, each member of American Sharks give us a peek at what they’re munching while on tour. Up first is guitarist Will Ellis, sharing what he ate while in the New York area just before joining the tour with Clutch and The Sword.

Calamari pizza in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Looked interesting but totally sucked for breakfast. Ate about 4 bites and left it on a street trash can for someone else to try.

Ate at Urban Rustic in Williamsburg and got my first vegetarian turkey club. It was rad and had fake bacon, fake turkey w/ a side of greens with balsamic vinegarette  and I went for the three cheese Mac and chz  as well as some fresh organic beet, apple, kale, carrot and ginger juice. Place ruled and a bunch of dudes we played a show with earlier in the week were there working.

Ate momo sushi shack in Bushwick with a bud and my girlfriend. Totally rad sushi served a bit differently than back in Texas. Started the meal out with a bottle of cold sake, miso soup and seaweed salad. Ordered the sushi bomb which was a taste teaser of their best fish and eel as well as a philly roll, tempura shrimp roll and white tuna roll. Really awesome dinner paid for by a good bud cuz life on the road is rough And fancy.

Falafel wrap lunch special near Natural History Museum that came with lentil soup and curly fries. Not your typical pita. It was super thin like a tortilla. Real tasty.

Ate at this place where rice pudding is their specialty. Got two flavors in one bowl. Dark chocolate chip and the other half was mascarpone w/ cherries. Nice sweet treat after a burn sesh
