goldkinderWe have almost nothing noteworthy to cover this week, and I don’t understand why. It might be that some metal debuts got their release dates changed, or else we had incorrect information on those release dates in the first place. Either way, I don’t have much to offer today, so I’m going to try something a little different. I’ll just give you the entire release list, with very little commentary on each album, and hopefully you’ll have a good idea of everything presented here today after you’re done.

We Butter the Bread with Butter, Goldkinder (12th Street)

Fourth album from the German deathcore outfit, known for flavoring their music with a splash of electronics and a few symphonic touches. Recommended for fans of Chelsea Grin, Rammstein, and Suicide Silence.

Panzerchrist, 7th Offensive (Listenable)

Formed after Michael Enevoldsen left Illdisposed, Panzerchrist is releasing their appropriately-titled seventh full-length today. Their form of blackened death metal is perfect for fans of God Dethroned and Severe Torture.

No Sir, The Future is Bright (Twelve Gauge)

Very little is known about this group, except that they seem to be a side project of several other Bay Area punk and hardcore acts. Give them a listen if you’re looking for a new hardcore punk group to latch onto.

Sandstone, Delta Viridian (Limb)

After starting out as a traditional heavy metal band, Sandstone has progressed to becoming a power-prog band with inspiration from Fates Warning and Symphony X. Delta Viridian is a concept album that is loosely based upon Kurt Vonnegut’s novel Cat’s Cradle.

Next Week: The release list returns with a vengeance, boasting some insanely heavy bands for your listening pleasure. If you like this format better than my usual style, please let me know in the comments below. If enough people want to see it continue, then I will do so. Until then, see you next week!
