With a new album (tentatively titled Black Out The Sun) due out in March/April next year, one would expect that Sevendust would hit the road soon. And according to guitarist Clint Lowery, the group is planning to tour early next year with Coal Chamber and Lacuna Coil.
Lowery spilled the beans during an interview with Source Of The Sound, saying “there’s some talks of” Sevendust touring with Coal Chamber and Lacuna Coil possibly in February. First off, this is a tour package that would interest any nu metal fan for sure (or anyone, for that matter, who listened to heavy rock in 2000). Plus, this could serve as many fans’ first time seeing Coal Chamber since reuniting. However, Sevendust’s past feud with frontman Dez Fafara makes this tour even more interesting.
Even though Lowery says the tour is in the works, an official announcement has yet to be made. So let’s wait a little bit before calling the Sevendust, Coal Chamber and Lacuna Coil tour a sure thing. You can hear audio of the entire interview in the video after the jump, with Lowery’s comments made around the 7:52 mark.
