Revocation is kicking off the Fall season in a big way. The Boston metal group recently announced plans to tour with A Life Once Lost and KEN mode. And now Revocation will have a new EP to go along with the tour.
Revocation are teaming up with Scion A/V for the tour and to release their new EP Teratogenesis. However, both the album and EP will mark another first for Revocation, namely a new bassist. Frontman Dave Davidson had the following to say about bassist Anthony Buda’s departure and replacement:
“Hey what’s up guys, just wanted to give everyone an update on what’s been happening in the world of Revo. As some of you have already noticed Anthony has parted ways with the band. The split was amicable and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. We have recently enlisted the services of Brett Bamberger and we are incredibly stoked to have him on board as an official member. Come see us live and buy him a beer.”
Buda has been in Revocation since the group formed in 2000. We’re sure, though, that Revocation will have no troubles moving forward with Brett Bamberger. Teratogenesis will be released later this month, while the band’s tour dates with A Life Once Lost and KEN mode can be seen after the jump.
