Though Resolution came out back in January, Lamb Of God have done little touring in the U.S. in support of their latest release (besides a mini-six date East Coast tour). Well it looks like that’s about to change, as Lamb Of God have some major plans for a North America tour this August and September.
An official announcement is due next week, but it’s already been leaked that Lamb Of God will tour with none other than Dethklok and Gojira [Update: the tour has been confirmed]. The tour will reportedly kick off on August 1 in Seattle, WA and include the Heavy T.O. and Heavy MTL festivals in Canada. This trek is pretty good timing for Gojira, whose new album L’Enfant Sauvage comes out on June 26. And even though the Metalocalypse co-creator Brendon Small just released his new solo project Galaktikon, there’s a strong chance that a new album from everyone’s favorite animated death metal group will come out this year as well.
According to the leaked dates, the three bands will be playing in theaters across North America in addition to festival appearances. Now if you may excuse us so that we take a moment to say “Lamb Of God, Dethklok, and Gojira on the same bill? Holy Crap!” A rundown of dates that have leaked thus far can be seen after the jump.
