Word about Lamb Of God’s touring plans leaked last week, but today details have been confirmed. While it’s not the full North American tour many fans may have been hoping for, East Coast fans certainly have reason to rejoice.
To kick start a world tour in support of their new album Resolution, Lamb Of God will be embarking on a six date East Coast tour in late January of 2012. Support on the dates, expect for the January 22 show in Richmond, VA, will come from The Acacia Strain and Too Late The Hero (who just so happen to be signed to Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler’s label ReThink Records). Lamb Of God will reportedly also be holding in-store signings in four of the cities on the day of the shows, though more information regarding that will be revealed in the first week of January.
And after the six date trek, Lamb Of God will kick off the Pacific portion of their tour. This part of the tour, though, will actually conclude in Anchorage, Alaska (the first time the band has performed in the State). That leads one to believe that Lamb Of God may have more (maybe bigger plans) in store for North America this Summer.
