Is Brutal Legend going to be the most metal video game ever? Until now, we’d heard more about the endless legal battles over the game than the game itself, but the just-released track listing just gave it even more metal cred. Sure, we know that Jack Black, Lemmy, Ozzy, Rob Halford and more lent their voices to it, but 100 tracks from 75 artists including Carcass, Anthrax, Crimson Glory, Scorpions, and Skeletonwich makes for the best and most metal soundtrack to a video game we’ve heard about. There’s metal for nearly everyone on this. In addition to classic stuff by Anthrax, Judas Priest and Overkill, there’s also hair metal (Dokken, Motley Crue, Ratt, Quiet Riot), doom (Candlemass, Omen) and band we’ve never even heard of (Bishop of Hexen and Wrath of Killenstein, we’re looking at you). Full list after the jump.
