December 19, 2025 Release Highlights:

Peter Criss, Peter Criss (Flatiron Recordings):
The former Kiss drummer releases his first solo album in eight years. Said Criss to Billboard (via Blabbermouth) about the album, “There’s a little bit of everything in there. Now that I’m a senior citizen or whatever, I wanted to write a little about politics, a little good ol’ rock ‘n’ roll. Music is so powerful, as you know. You can really pour your heart and soul into something…and I did. I hope my fans love it. I promised them I would do a rock album after One For All, and I kept my promise.”

Dead Sun, This Life Is A Grave (Emanzipation):
The Swedish melodic death metal band release their ninth studio album, which they describe as “another slab of dark, melodic, and riff-driven death metal” and “showcases” their “unmistakable blend of heaviness, melancholy, and melody.”

Lychgate, Precipice (Debemur Morti):
According to their Bandcamp, the UK avant-black metal band’s fourth full-length is “progressive Extreme Metal plummeting inside a black hole: scorching, twisted and transfixing. The band have upped both the dystopic prog-Death quotient and their sense of experimentation, moving with formidable, mechanised poise and a surrealist’s sense of dread.”
