Metallica marked the launch of their new SiriusXM channel, Maximum Metallica, with an exclusive performance on Thursday night (28) at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, NY. The rare club show featured staples like “Master of Puppets”, “Seek & Destroy”, and “Fade to Black,” while Robert Trujillo and Kirk Hammett paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne with a rendition of “Crazy Train” during their doodle. The intimate event drew VIPs including Paul and Nancy McCartney, Howard and Beth Stern, Sylvester Stallone, Michael J. Fox, Chris Jericho, and more. Maximum Metallica officially launched today (29th) on channel 42, with the concert set to premiere September 1 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
