Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

The 2017 album Wake Up Call was the first album that abbreviated Theory of A Deadman’s name to just Theory. Why? I dunno. It’s a sorta long name I guess. And I suppose being referred to as TOAD gets tiresome after awhile. You don’t want to be confused with Toad the Wet Sprocket after all (or maybe you do). Lorna Shore’s much discussed new album also makes the list and a few albums have gotten some big boosts.
