Despite having a break from being on the road, that hasn’t stopped Metallica’s Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett from being on stage. During this past weekend, the drummer and guitarist made a guest appearance.
Kirk Hammett joined UFO on stage on Saturday (12th) at the Megacruise pre-cruise party at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA. Hammett performed two tracks “Doctor Doctor” and “Shoot Shoot.” The guitarist was most likely honoring UFO as this trek marks their farewell tour.
Speaking of legends, Hammett recently shared an image via Instagram of him with the Who’s Peter Townshend:
Meanwhile, Lars Ulrich joined Mumford & Sons on stage on Sunday (13th) at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, TX to perform the song “The Wolf.”
