New music continues to pile its way through. Genre: Dark Pagan Folk Location: Czech Republic Note: The new video is taken from the project’s ongoing art-music film Going Forth by Day. The piece brings a 5,000-year-old ritual from the Egyptian Book of the Dead to life, combining animated oil artwork with live-action reenactments performed by the band. Using authentic ancient Egyptian instruments and lyrics drawn from original funerary spells, the video depicts the symbolic battle to repel Apophis, the serpent god of darkness.

05) Epica – “Avatar – The Final Incarnation”
Album: A special Epica Oracle Card Set, out January 7, 2026 Genre: Symphonic Metal Location: Netherlands Note: The track explores the arrival of a final avatar meant to purge unrighteousness and restore truth. The single comes ahead of the band’s upcoming Epica Oracle Card Set, launching January 7th. That same day, fans can also pick up the Aspiral Oracle deluxe boxset, featuring a 12-card oracle deck, handbook, and incense holder designed by artist Hedi Xandt, offering deeper insight into the Aspiral songs and a tool for personal reflection.
