In a recent episode of The Jasta Show, Cannibal Corpse frontman, George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher talked about guitarist Pat O’Brien’s December 2018 incident, where his house went up in flames with 80 firearms inside.
Fisher expressed how the band wants guitarist Pat O’Brien back in the lineup and support him 100%:
“We love him,. We want him back. But when I saw him in the court with the [anti-suicide] vest, dude, I cried. Because we just got home from tour… We wish the best for him, and we’re just waiting to see [what happens]. He’s got a road ahead of him still with legal issues, and that’s out of our hands. We support him 100 percent; we’re behind him 100 percent.”
Back in February we interviewed Hate Eternal’s Erik Rutan and he spoke very highly of O’Brien and even went as far to say, “Pat O’Brien is one of the best guitar players in death metal, in metal period.” We wish O’Brien a speedy recovery and return to Cannibal Corpse.
