The new Hollywood Undead album is called American Tragedy. You can make your own comment because we don’t want to do all the work. However, we will comment on the fact that they’ve got new masks! If you’re going to base your persona on the fact that you wear masks, this could be arguably more important than the fact that they have a new album out. FX artist Jerry Constantine designed their masks, which the band’s J-Dog commented about to Kikaxemusic:

“We wanted new masks because they represent us as a band, and as a whole. We all felt it`s years later since the first record and time to start a new chapter. Also the guy, Jerry, who molded them said “I noticed it was a problem when some of your fans masks started looking better than yours.” So we stepped it up. Now ours look better, light up, and shoot f*ckin missiles at terrorists!”

As hated as Hollywood Undead is in the metal community, they’re also one of its only gold-selling artists in the last few years. And Mudvayne and Slipknot both got more recognition for their masks than their music in the early days. And OMG guys, their masks LIGHT UP this time! You’ll be able to see their new headgear on the Nightmare After Christmas tour with Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour and New Medicine. Check out a video on the making of the masks after the jump.
