The infamous Motley Crüe biography The Dirt – Confessions of The World’s Most Notorious Rock Band, will hit the small screen as a Netflix exclusive next year. Frontman Vince Neil has revealed via Twitter that the film will be released on March 22nd, 2019.

Jeff Tremaine, of Jackass presents: Bad Grandpa fame directed the film, which stars Daniel Webber of The Punisher as Neil. The movie closely follows the event laid out in the biography of the same name that was written by the band themselves and New York Times writer Neil Strauss. The book was published back in 2001 and chronicles the group’s formation, as well as their highs and lows throughout their career. 

In addition to Webber, the film also stars Douglas Booth as Nikki Sixx (bass), Machine Gun Kelly as Tommy Lee (drums), and Game of Thrones’ Iwan Rheon as Mick Mars (guitar). Other actors include Tony Cavalero as Ozzy Osbourne, The Amityville Murders and Lycan star Rebekah Graf will portray Lee’s ex-wife, Heather Locklear and Christian Gehring as David Lee Roth.
