Miami-based shredder Ben Katzman (former Guerilla Toss and White Fang) has bounced between NY, LA, and Boston and remained true to his DIY presentation and chill attitude. His experience has earned him a spot in the Miami metal scene as his project, Ben Katzman’s DeGreaser are getting ready for their new album Quarter Life Crisis to arrive on October 12th. Today (3rd), the group has premiered the song “Chill Position.” The track has more of a punk rock and raw style as Katzman explains the song is meant to inspire people to move past the fear of judgment when it comes to living your own life.
Katzman expressed:
‘”Chill Position’ is about moving past fear of judgement when it comes to doing your hustle and living your life. After constantly promoting bands with BUFU, touring and playing in such bands as White Fang and Guerilla Toss, I felt extremely burnt out. It’s easy to get wrapped up in self-doubt and self-consciousness. This song is about trying to reduce the noise that clouds your judgement while working your hardest to be the best you that you can be!”
