Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.
The debuts just keep on coming. This week sports thirteen new albums topped by Light The Torch, formerly known as Devil You Know. It’s odd when a band changes their name, though it’s not uncommon; Burn The Priest’s name change to Lamb of God is a pretty well known example. In the case of the Howard Jones fronted Devil You Know, the band changed its name to avoid a copyright issue. Luckily, Light The Torch’s latest album is their highest charting album yet, so it looks like they’re on the right track.
