Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.

No, there isn’t actually any Christmas music on here nor do I think there is a war on Christmas. Anyway, it’s a pretty sizable list of debuts this week including the surprise live album from Ghost. It’s obviously perfect for your holiday listening and I’m sure if Baby Jesus was born today it would make a wonderful birthday gift. Well, better than myrrh anyway. Enjoy your holidays everybody.

Also, I was asked for Korn numbers. The Serenity of Suffering sold 300 copies this week and has sold over 133,000 copies to date.

Notable Debuts:

War Of Ages, Alpha (Facedown)

Ghost, Ceremony and Devotion (Loma Vista)
