Prophets of Rage unveiled another new tune taken from their upcoming self-titled debut which will be released on September 15th. “Living on the 110” addresses the issue of homelessness and financial imbalances, focusing on Los Angeles. The first single “Unfuck the World” showed us a realistic view of our present-day chaos and now, we have a specific look on what goes down on the 110 freeway in LA.
According to Rolling Stone, Tom Morello describes the song as:
“The 110 is a freeway in Los Angeles and living beneath it are thousands of homeless people. Bentleys and Rolls Royces roaring by are literally driving on top of the poor and their makeshift homes, a picture perfect analogy for the grotesque economic inequality that plagues our times.”
