One of the best things about Metallica’s “Hardwired,” which was unleashed upon an unsuspecting world yesterday, was the simplicity of it. It’s a three minute song, written in E, and has been immediately embraced by the metal community. And since we live in a world of on-demand and instant gratification, it should come as no surprise that the internet is already full of a bunch of covers. The chords and riffage aren’t all that hard to figure out, and some are even already nailing Kirk’s solo.
