Oli-Sykes Coldplay NMEThe NME awards ceremony happened last night at the O2 Academy in Brixton, south London and while the magazine gives awards to many fields of the entertainment business, they had their own entertainment going on involving the standing feud between Bring Me The Horizon and Coldplay.

During the event, Bring Me The Horizon took over the stage to play “Happy Song,” giving a good show to those in attendance but that wasn’t enough to get Coldplay’s attention, who basically didn’t care for their performance at all, so singer Oliver Sykes decided to get himself noticed and stepped on top of their table, destroying everything on it.

It’s good to remember that Bring Me The Horizon and Coldplay had feud when BMTH called them out on the similarities of Coldplay’s album artwork with their 2013 release Sempiternal, leading to Sykes taking to Twitter, claiming Coldplay was “jackin” the band’s “steez” by using the ancient “flower of life” symbol. Having that in mind, this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone but it’s still great to see something like that at a ceremony show and even better, hearing everyone clapping about it.

Check out the video of the incident and enjoy Coldplay’s reaction as they realized what was going on in front of their eyes:
