blacksabbathfinalBlack Sabbath’s final tour isn’t off to as stellar a start as many would like. Having kicked off two weeks ago, the first four shows went great.  However, two Canadian dates in Edmonton and Calgary were postponed after Ozzy Osbourne took ill with extreme sinusitis. It was announced today that a third Sabbath show, tonight’s in Vancouver, BC, has been postponed as well, making three consecutive postponed tour dates.

Sinusitis is described as an inflammation or swelling of the tissues lining the sinus causing them to become blocked. In short, it could be as innocuous as the common cold. However, if it’s acute sinusitis, it can last four weeks, and more extreme versions can last 8 weeks or longer. That doesn’t sound very promising for the remainder of the first leg of the tour, which is scheduled to continue until February 27th in New York City, but we’ve got to imagine he has some of the best doctors out there looking after him.. We’ll continue to keep you up to date, and here’s hoping Ozzy recovers.
